What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a hands-on treatment that focuses on diagnosing, treating, and preventing problems with the spine, muscles, and joints. It works on the principle that proper alignment of the body’s structure, particularly the spine, helps to restore function, reduce pain, and support overall health.
Chiropractors use a range of techniques, including spinal adjustments, joint mobilisation, and soft tissue therapy, to improve movement and relieve discomfort. Treatment is commonly used for back and neck pain, sciatica, headaches, and joint stiffness, but it can also support posture, mobility, and general wellbeing.
Chiropractic care is suitable for people of all ages and can be particularly effective for those with chronic pain or those recovering from injury. Each treatment is tailored to the individual, focusing on restoring balance and helping the body function at its best.
